The book, "History of the Town of Exeter, New Hampshire; the Quarter-Millennial Year," by Charles H. Bell, Boston, Massachusetts, J. E. Farwell & Co., Press, 1888. This book has a comprehensive history and genealogy of early Exeter, New Hampshire and its inhabitants. There are many lists of early residents & settlers, pioneer residents, land-owners, census data, and so forth. There are lists of all military groups from Exeter including the early Indian Wars, Revolutionary War, and the Civil War. In the Genealogy Section of the book are extracts from the Exeter vital records archives, i.e., census, births, deaths, marriages, etc. It is a very valuable historical and genealogical reference for this area of New Hampshire. The book has approximately 557 pages and a full Index. Please note: This is not a paper book, it is a scan of the original paper book into the digital Adobe PDF format, written on a CD-ROM. You read this book on your computer using the free Adobe Reader software. It is a digital version of a hard to find book. If you could find a copy of the 1888 printed book, it would be very expensive.

There are too many individuals listed in the Montgomery County book to list. Many individuals from all townships and communities are examined biographically.

Do not miss the chance to get this great historical, family, and genealogical reference! Please note: This is a scan of the original book converted to Adobe PDF format and written on a CD-ROM.
